Dr. Leslie Murray is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She is board certified in General Adult Psychiatry. She received her medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine, where she completed a dual M.D./M.P.H. program. Her specialties include ADHD, Depression, Eating Disorders, Women's Mental Health and Anxiety. Dr. Murray is an active advocate for improved insurance coverage of eating disorders and other mental illnesses.
Scott L. Kane, PA is a Physician Assistant who sees adult populations ages 18 and up. He possesses a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Old Dominion University and graduating from Eastern Virginia Medical School with Master of Physician Assistant Studies. He is a previous member of the military dedicating 20 years as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy.

Janelle L. Mason, Ph.D., LCP is a psychologist specializing in assessment. Psychological assessment services are provided for children and adults ages 6 years and older. These assessments include Learning Disability and ADHD evaluations. Personality assessments, juvenile forensic assessments, psychological and diagnostic assessments, and pre-bariatric surgery evaluations are also provided. Her training and experience include the treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, victimization and abuse, divorce, grief and loss issues. She is able to incorporate elements of Judeo-Christian theology into treatment for clients who request it.
Ken Cooke, LPC obtained his Bachelors of Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and received his Masters of Counseling through University of Phoenix. He sees populations of 14 to 65. He works with individuals as well as family counseling. His training and experience include treatment of Addiction, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, LBGT, Mood Disorders, OCD, Personality Disorders, PTSD, Psychotic Disorders and Stress Management.
Trudy Kim, ATR-BC, LPC, NCC is a Board Certified Art Therapist. She has over 11 years experience using expressive arts therapies (art and play therapy) in conjunction with traditional therapy techniques in treating children, adolescents, and adults with mood disorders, ADHD/disruptive behaviors, anger management problems, anxiety disorders, and grief and loss issues.
Laurie Grant, LCSW graduated from Western Kentucky University and Norfolk State University. She has over 20 years experience treating patients in the mental health field through inpatient, Community Services Board, and private practice. Laurie sees children 12 and older, adults, couples and families.
Peggy Lidstrom, LCSW has over 25 years of experience with children over the age of 12, adults and older adults. She does individual, marital, and family therapy for personsdiagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief, OCD, trauma, and PTSD. She is also certified in hypnosis and EMDR. She facilitates our Substance Abuse Program.
Janet Madison, LCSW is a dedicated professional providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals in Hampton Road for more than 30 years. She is experienced in family, individual and group treatment. Mrs. Madison has served on several community boards that include Value Options, Seton House, and Samritan House. She is a seasoned therapist with interests and experience in child (10 years and older) treatment, marital counseling, substance abuse and addiction, family therapy and gerontology. She is married with three adult children. She has a special interest in her community and our wounded warriers. As an adjunct professor she keeps abreast of new ideas and better treatments to serve her clients.

Program emphasis supports formulation of reasonable expectations for oneself, goal setting, and healthy family interaction. She has experience in early childhood maltreatment and sexual abuse, neglect and abandonment. Alicia also offers therapeutic services of adolescents with ADHD and anger management problems.
